What the work is.
Everyone who has ever moved money has had the same afternoon: a payment has left, nobody can say where it is, and the only answer available is to wait and see. The information exists. It is simply not shown to the person whose money it is.
So we built the boring half properly first — a ledger where every movement has a reason attached, and a receipt for each one that you can send to somebody else. Everything visible on this site is a view onto that.
It is not a philosophy. It is just what happens when the thing underneath is built to be read.

Before you apply
Every role we advertise is attached to one of the offices above, and the listing says which one. Some can be done from home for part of the week — where that is true the listing says so, and where it is not, it says that too. We do not advertise a role in a city we are not able to employ you in.
You will need the right to work in the country the role sits in; where a visa is something we can help with, the listing says so rather than leaving you to ask. Anything you send us is handled the way our privacy policy describes — it covers applicants as well as customers — and you can ask us to delete it at any point, or raise it with the data-protection authority named in our privacy policy.

We are not advertising a vacancy today. When we are, it will be listed on this page with the office it sits in and what the job actually involves — and until then this page would rather say nothing than invent something.

Speculative applications
We read everything that arrives, including what arrives when nothing is advertised. If what you do is close to the work described above, write anyway — good applications are kept on file and looked at first when a role opens, which is a better start than an empty page.
